Our 3 tips to boost engagement in your webinars
Engagement during the webinar makes it better because attendees feel connected to the topic at end and some questions get answered during the session. But how do you create engaging webinars? We give you some tips on achieving this.
Tip #1: Use polling
You can launch polls at various intervals during your webinar to make it more entertaining. Webinar polls are a great way to ask for, receive and share feedback. You could use polls to ask people their level of knowledge at the beginning of your session, then again at the end.
Tip #2: Use private chat
Private chat during a webinar can be used to have a secure channel for you and your users to ask questions. When using this feature, we recommend you use a dedicated facilitator that can take care of the questions, and moderate through the questions. Using a facilitator will make it easier for you to focus on your presentation.
Tip #3: Use open chat
Open chat creates a public and open for all discussion. This is a great way to build a sense of engagement and community during the webinar. All your attendees can have a free flowing discussion with each other about the topics related to your webinar. While this feature is great for building a community, for sensitive topics, we recommend turning it off.
